Terms of use
Last updated: 19 September 2026
Acceptance
These terms (“Terms”) are a contract between you and Citedly (“we”, “us”), a free deterministic SEO and GEO toolkit operated by devcrafthouse.co.za. By using the service in any way you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our privacy policy. If you use Citedly on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
The service
Citedly provides 10 free, deterministic tools that check how well AI engines and search crawlers can find, read and cite a website. Each tool is a pure server-side fetch, parse and compute operation — no AI calls, no signup, no cost. The tools include an AI-visibility audit, a robots.txt analyzer, a JSON-LD validator, a sitemap checker, a crawlability checker, an HTTP header checker, a performance checker, an internal link checker, a DNS health checker, a composite GEO readiness report, and a free llms.txt generator.
No accounts, no billing
Citedly is a free service. There are no accounts, no subscriptions, no billing and no credit card requirements. We do not store your data, we do not sell data, and we do not train on it. The service is provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind.
Acceptable use
- You must not use Citedly to probe, attack or overload any third-party website. Citedly fetches only the public homepage and a small number of public resources (robots.txt, sitemap.xml, DNS records) per request.
- You must not use Citedly to scrape, reverse-engineer or extract data for the purpose of building a competing product.
- You must not attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls.
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to audit the domain you submit.
Third-party sites
When you submit a domain to Citedly, we fetch that domain's public homepage and a small number of public resources. We do not store the fetched content beyond the lifetime of the request. You are responsible for any consequences of fetching a domain's public resources.
Intellectual property
Citedly, the Citedly name, logo and all tool output are the intellectual property of devcrafthouse.co.za. You may use the output of the tools for your own business purposes, including sharing reports with clients or colleagues. You may not resell the tools or the service as a standalone product.
Disclaimer of liability
Citedly is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The tools are deterministic and repeatable, but we make no representation that the results will be accurate, complete or up-to-date. AI engines change their behaviour without notice, and a score from Citedly is a snapshot of the deterministic signals at the time of the check, not a guarantee of future AI visibility.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, devcrafthouse.co.za shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of Citedly.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available at citedly.tech/terms. Your continued use of Citedly after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
